Sacramento, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of State Senator Stephanie Bice for Congress in Oklahoma’s Fifth Congressional District.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “This race is one of the most competitive in the entire nation, and State Senator Stephanie Bice needs all the help she can get to take the Fifth District back from Nancy Pelosi’s Democrats. Stephanie’s experience in business and record of controlling state spending make her the perfect choice to represent a district that President Trump won by double digits in 2016. We need more conservative leaders like her in Congress.
“Through her professional career in the technology industry, including several years in leadership roles in her family’s business, Stephanie experienced the many difficulties that businesses must endure as a result of government overreach. So, when she was elected to the State Senate, she fought to repeal onerous regulations that hinder job creation and control state spending. In addition, she worked across party lines to improve education by reducing class sizes and increasing teacher pay, which was among the lowest in the nation. And she did this all without voting to raise taxes. In Congress, Stephanie will fight to promote economic opportunity, protect Oklahoma’s energy industry from government overreach, and rein in out of control spending.
“When Kendra Horn was elected to Congress in 2018, she promised to be a moderate who would always put Oklahoma first. But her first official vote in Congress was to elect Nancy Pelosi speaker, and she has voted with her more than 90 percent of the time. It seems Kendra does a better job representing Nancy and her California values than hardworking Oklahomans. That would explain why she supports raising taxes, attacks the oil and gas industry, and refuses to condemn those who attack law enforcement. It’s time to restore honest, commonsense leadership to the Fifth District and beat back the radical Democrats’ assaults on our freedoms. That is exactly what voters will get when they elect Stephanie Bice to Congress,” Russo concluded.
