SACRAMENTO, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Lakeland City Commissioner Scott Franklin for Congress in Florida’s 15th Congressional District.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “The 15th District is a crucial seat that Democrats are fighting to steal from conservatives in their quest to implement their far-left agenda. A veteran, small businessman, and local government leader, Scott Franklin is an experienced conservative outsider who will restore principled Congressional representation to the 15th District and fight the left’s plans for more big government, higher taxes, and lawlessness in the streets.
“Scott has dedicated his entire life to serving his country. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he served as a Naval Aviator for 26 years and defended our country in combat all over the world. He saw firsthand how oppressive government destroys freedom and opportunity, and he is determined to never let it happen here at home. As a small businessman, Scott understands the importance of getting government out of the way of entrepreneurs and job creators by lowering taxes, eliminating excessive regulations, and slashing wasteful spending. He has fought for these principles as a Lakeland City Commissioner, and he will continue fighting for them in Congress.
