| Sacramento, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Scott Baugh in California’s 47thCongressional District. “Scott’s voting record in the California Legislature has shown he’s not afraid to speak out against radical spending bills that will raise taxes and stifle economic growth. He’s proven time and time again he’ll be a solid fiscal conservative who will champion our Tea Party principles of limited government and lower taxes in the United States Congress.
“Not only was Scott a stalwart conservative in the State Legislature, but his leadership was recognized by his colleagues who elected him the Republican Leader of the State Assembly. I had the pleasure of personally working with, and I have been impressed with his leadership skills as well as his commitment to conservative principles.
“Since returning to Orange County, Scott has been involved in numerous civic affairs, including serving as Chairman of the Orange County Gang Reduction Intervention Partnership. He recognizes the increase of dangerous crime is directly affecting the quality of life in Orange County, and he has stepped up to address this serious national issue.

His opponent, Katie Porter, is known as one of the most liberal Members of Congress despite representing conservative Orange County. She has aligned herself with far-left politicians like Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
