Sacramento, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest grassroots Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Alex Mooney in West Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “Alex Mooney is a proven conservative leader who is not afraid to challenge the status-quo politicians destroying our nation. President Trump has enthusiastically endorsed his campaign, and local West Virginia leaders have rallied and unified behind Alex Mooney to ensure West Virginia continues to have a fierce advocate for coal miners and their families. We have strongly supported Alex since he began his first campaign in 2014, and he has lived up to his reputation as a conscientious conservative who will stand up for the people of West Virginia.
“While Biden wants to arm radical environmentalists with more power and control over businesses in West Virginia, Congressman Mooney has fought back against the job killing agenda of the EPA. Because of Alex Mooney’s fierce leadership in fighting back both the Obama and Biden Administrations’ efforts to destroy coal mining, he’s preserved coal industry operations and saved countless jobs by stopping oppressive regulations from destroying West Virginia’s economy.
