Sacramento, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest grassroots Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Mike Garcia in California’s 27th Congressional District.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “Once again, we are pleased to support Mike Garcia for Congress as he is a true American patriot and solid conservative who has dedicated his life to fighting for American principles. We supported him in the 2020 Special Election, as well as in November 2020, when he won an upset election victory that made him the first Hispanic Republican in California in more than 100 years.
“After graduating from the United States Naval Academy, Mike Garcia bravely served our country on the front lines as a decorated Naval Officer and fighter pilot, completing more than 30 missions in Iraq. Mike then went on to work in the defense industry where he helped create hundreds of jobs to bolster the American economy. His business experience taught him that the American people can best succeed when the government gets out of the way and lets families and small businesses make decisions for themselves instead of being saddled with crushing regulations, high taxes and government mandates.
“During his time in Congress, Mike has continued to speak out against the job-killing policies Democrats in Congress are determined to force through, and he has warned about the disaster and economic ruin that awaits if Americans continue to rely on hostile nations to meet our energy needs.
“Liberals like Nancy Pelosi continue to promote high taxes and excessive government, which is why they are enthusiastically supporting his opponent who will advocate for their destructive policies in Washington, D.C. Mike Garcia is just the opposite; he is committed to reducing the gas tax, repealing the burdensome regulations that are destroying the economy, and limiting the size and scope of government.
