ELECTION ALERT: Tea Party Express Endorses Derrick Van Orden in Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District

Sacramento, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest grassroots Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Derrick Van Orden in Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District.  

Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “Derrick Van Orden is a true American patriot who loves his country and is fed up with the career politicians in Washington, D.C.  As a proud Navy SEAL, Derrick fought to defend our beloved country against those who sought to harm us, and now he’s ready to continue the fight in Congress to combat the disastrous policies of the Washington, D.C. elite. 

“For 26 years, Derrick selflessly served our nation as a Navy SEAL, retiring as a Navy SEAL Senior Chief who completed five combat tours in dangerous areas of the world such as Afghanistan and Iraq.  Having served in Europe during the Obama regime, Derrick witnessed firsthand the dangers of having inept leaders create policies which weaken our American sovereignty and make us vulnerable to attack. 

“With the dangers and reality of terrorism, America can no longer afford to have politicians with no experience make policy decisions that put our troops in harm’s way and endanger the lives of all Americans.  And with currently only 91 Members of Congress ever having served in the military, we need the experience and wisdom of patriots like Derrick Van Orden who understand the dynamics of the threats we face across the globe. 

“Derrick recognizes that Nancy Pelosi and her Democrat colleagues in Congress have bankrupted our economy, and their failed policies have led to record-high inflation and soaring prices at the pump.  While Wisconsinites are simply trying to feed their families, food costs have exploded, forcing some families to choose between putting gas in their cars or food on the table.

“Unlike most status-quo politicians, Derrick has had enough, which is why he’s determined to reverse the course and return America back to its founding principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  He knows Americans can only truly be free if the government gets out of the way and lets people make the best decisions for their families.
