Tea Party Express Endorses Mike Doyle and Jeremy Shaffer for Congress in Pennsylvania

Sacramento, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest grassroots Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Mike Doyle in Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District and Jeremy Shaffer in Pennsylvania’s 17th Congressional District.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “We are pleased to support Mike Doyle and Jeremy Shaffer for Congress because they are both committed to championing our Tea Party principles of limited government and fiscal responsibility.
Mike Doyle, Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District. “Mike is a commonsense business leader who is dedicated to shaking up the Washington, D.C. elite by bringing fresh new leadership to the halls of Congress. He is a sharp contrast to his Democrat opponent Summer Lee, a community organizer and supporter of the most leftist ideas we hear from the progressive Democrats in Washington, D.C. It is her extreme views that give Mike a fighting chance to win this district that strongly supported President Joe Biden in 2020.
“As Vice President for Excalibur Insurance Management Services in their Pittsburgh office, Mike has navigated the complex world of insurance to help Pennsylvanians achieve their goals. He then ran for Council in Plum Borough where he was able to apply his business knowledge from the private sector to increase government efficiency and effectiveness. In fact, under Mike’s leadership as Council President, he used the savings from a budget surplus to decrease taxes and improve local infrastructure.
“And now, Mike is running for Congress to take his discipline of fiscal responsibility and experience to stop the dysfunction of Washington, D.C. politicians and their reckless tax-and-spend policies.
“The truth is, the failed policies of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Joe Biden are bankrupting our nation with no end in sight. Summer Lee would be even worse as she supports every big government program. Like most Americans, voters in Pennsylvania’s 12th District are facing record-high inflation and soaring prices in all areas of life – from the grocery store to the gas pump. They don’t need or want bigger government.
“Mike Doyle is committed to reversing the economic disaster sweeping through our nation, and I’m confident he’ll champion our Tea Party principles to stop massive tax hikes, restore fiscal responsibility, and ensure Congress maintains a balanced budget, and we are pleased to endorse his campaign.

“As the president and co-founder of a company dedicated to improving infrastructure, Jeremy used his business knowledge to help customers achieve safety, while at the same time managing his business costs to stay within a balanced budget. He then went on to serve as Ross Township Commissioner and Board President where he led the charge to fight on behalf of taxpayers to be a voice of reason against those pushing tax hikes.
“While Democrats like Speaker Nancy Pelosi continue to ram through a tax-and-spend agenda that robs Americans of their freedom, Jeremy knows true prosperity can only be achieved through a free market which provides opportunities to individuals and small businesses without government interference. His Democrat opponent Chris DeLuzio is a partisan Democrat who will vote down the line with Biden and Pelosi even as he watches the economy worsen and the economic life in Pennsylvania get worse for the people.
“And as a small business leader, Jeremy is committed to reducing the red tape and burdensome regulations that choke the life out of thriving businesses and limit job creation. We need more middle class jobs in Pennsylvania, not more government and taxes like the Democrats want.
