Tea Party Express Endorses Phil Berger, Jr. for Congress
Sacramento, CA – Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is proud to endorse Phil Berger, Jr. for North Carolina’s Sixth Congressional District. The GOP Primary run-off will be held on July 15.
Tea Party Express Executive Director Taylor Budowich said, “The spending and debt racked up by politicians in Washington, D.C. is sickening. That’s why it’s critical to elect conservatives that have a proven ability to stand up for taxpayers. In North Carolina’s 6th Congressional District, Phil Berger, Jr. is that kind of conservative. He understands that taxes cripple our economy, and that’s why he signed the taxpayer protection pledge
“We need conservatives in Washington who are not afraid to tackle tough problems. As a District Attorney, Phil has woken up every morning ready to fight for North Carolina citizens by prosecuting criminals to the fullest extent of the law. He will bring that fighting spirit to Washington where doing nothing has become the rule.
“As a signer to the Repeal Obamacare Pledge, Phil is also a strong opponent to Obamacare, which is responsible for skyrocketing premiums in North Carolina.
