Tea Party Express Endorses Chris Mitchum for Congress in CA-24

Sacramento, CA – Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, proudly endorses Chris Mitchum for California’s 24th Congressional District.

Tea Party Express’ Executive Director Taylor Budowich said, “The contrast couldn’t be clearer in this race. Rep. Lois Capps has one of the most liberal voting records in the House. Her district and this country deserves better than someone that will continue to be a part of the problem of over-spending, over-taxing and over-regulating in Washington D.C.

“While the public has reacted negatively to the unwillingness to compromise in Congress, Rep. Capps has continued to blindly support the unpopular agendas of Nancy Pelosi and President Obama. She has voted for Obamacare, and has been opposed to nearly every conservative solution introduced in the House, having voted with House Democrats 96% of the time.

“In contrast, Chris Mitchum’s message of ‘restoring the power and the voice of the common citizen’ resonates with the voters of CA’s 24^th Congressional District, who have been burdened with the slow-growth, slow job-creation caused by Rep. Capps’ and her liberal colleagues. Like Ronald Reagan, Chris Mitchum looks to transition from Hollywood star to a difference maker in the lives of everyday Americans, and we believe he will.
