Tea Party Express Endorses Owen Hill for U.S. Congress in Colorado
Sacramento, CA – Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of State Senator Owen Hill for U.S. House in Colorado’s Fifth Congressional District.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “We are excited to endorse State Senator, Air Force veteran, and small business owner Owen Hill, whose conservative values and record of defending liberty will be a welcome addition to the House of Representatives. We are also proud to stand with our Tea Party Senator Rand Paul who, in endorsing Hill, appropriately calls him ‘a true constitutional conservative.’
As a State Senator, Owen has led the fight against unnecessary new laws, regulations, and red tape as well as championed pro-freedom initiatives to return power back to the hands of Coloradans where it belongs. He understands that unleashing the power of individuals and free markets by limiting government’s size and power is the surest way to promote economic growth and safeguard liberty. Whether it is a simplified tax code, free market healthcare solutions, or local control over education, Owen will fight to expand opportunity and freedom for Coloradans and, indeed, all Americans.
“Too many Republicans in Washington would rather ‘go along to get along’ with the Democrats than enact the bold conservative agenda that the voters who elected them demand. We cannot hope to maintain, much less grow, our conservative majority in the House unless we get behind candidates who offer a dynamic conservative message and are willing to stand up to the establishment.
