ELECTION ALERT: Tea Party Express Endorses Jason Lewis for U.S. Senate in Minnesota

SACRAMENTO, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Jason Lewis for U.S. Senate in Minnesota.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “A businessman, talk radio host, and former Congressman, Jason Lewis is a steadfast Tea Party conservative with the experience to get things done in Washington. He has been a friend of Tea Party Express since he participated in one of our first Minnesota rallies that encouraged conservatives to become politically active. His steadfast support and leadership in the conservative movement makes us excited to endorse his candidacy for the U.S. Senate.
“During his tenure in Congress, Jason Lewis fought tirelessly for the Tea Party principles of fiscal responsibility, limited government, and economic freedom. He proudly supported the historic tax cuts and regulatory reform that produced record economic growth, and he used his position on the House Budget Committee to advocate cutting wasteful spending and eliminating the unsustainable federal budget deficit. We need staunch conservative leaders like Jason in the Senate to be a bulwark against the radical left’s assault on the values and ideals we hold dear as Americans. With decades of private sector experience, he knows that the only way to get our economy moving again and fix the broken system in Washington is to empower individuals and entrepreneurs and reduce the size, cost, and intrusiveness of the government.
