SACRAMENTO, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Rep. Ann Wagner for re-election in Missouri’s Second Congressional District.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “With the election only days away and polls showing tight races up and down the ticket, every vote could make a difference in critical battlegrounds like the Second Congressional District. Congresswoman Wagner is a trusted conservative leader fighting for opportunity, prosperity, and Missouri values in Washington. She deserves another term in Congress, and we encourage voters to mark their ballots for her on Tuesday.
“For nearly 25 years, Ann has dedicated her life to serving her community and country. After building a successful private sector career in which she learned how government overreach hinders the economy and hurts hardworking families, she jumped into the political arena, eventually becoming Chair of the Missouri Republican Party. Recognized for her many accomplishments, President George W. Bush appointed her Ambassador to Luxembourg, a post she held for four years. Since her election to Congress in 2014, Congresswoman Wagner has fought to rein in out-of-control government spending, including co-sponsoring the No Budget, No Pay Act and voting to cut taxes for middle class families. She is committed to getting Missourians back to work and defending the principles that made our country and our economy great.
