Tea Party Express Endorses Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler in January 5 Georgia Runoff Election

SACRAMENTO, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its strong endorsement of Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler for re-election in the crucial January 5th runoff election to fill both of Georgia’s U.S. Senate seats.

Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “The outcome of the Georgia runoff election will determine which party controls the U.S. Senate for the next two years. It is critically important for conservatives to mobilize to keep these seats out of the Democrats’ hands and prevent the extreme liberal agenda from moving forward. Senators Perdue and Loeffler will be bulwarks against the Biden/Harris administration’s plans to raise our taxes and grossly expand wasteful government spending. We need their commonsense conservative leadership in the Senate now more than ever.

“A former corporate executive who oversaw the expansion and revitalization of several major American companies during his 40 years in the private sector, Senator David Perdue is a proven business leader who knows what it takes to create jobs and get the economy moving again. In his first term in the Senate, he supported historic tax relief and sorely needed regulatory reforms that produced record-low unemployment and one of the best economies in American history. All Americans, especially Black and Latino citizens, were able to realize the American dream and find meaningful employment in an expanding economy. Senator Perdue knows that these same policies are essential as we recover from COVID-19. He is also working to safely reopen businesses and schools while fighting to ensure all Americans have access to affordable healthcare and the distribution of a COVID-19 vaccine happens safely and expeditiously.

Yet she has never forgotten her blue-collar roots from her family’s farm, where she learned the agriculture business and the importance of hard work from a young age. Many Georgians are out of work and struggling to recover from the pandemic-induced economic downturn, and Senator Loeffler is fighting to get government out of the way so they can realize the American Dream. She has fought for fair trade deals that put Americans back to work, and she was a key vote to confirm conservative Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

“These two Senate seats are the Democrats’ only obstacles to full control of the federal government, and we can be sure that they will spend untold sums of out-of-state money from the likes of George Soros and Hollywood leftists to steal them away from conservatives. With solid votes from radical liberals Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, they will try to ram through socialist schemes like the Green New Deal and a federal government takeover of our healthcare while attempting to pack the Supreme Court to destroy the conservative majority. Their plans for massive tax increases and wasteful government spending will only hamper our economic recovery and leave trillions more in debt for our children and grandchildren. They don’t seem to understand that when you weaken the economy, the rich stay rich, but the poor and middle class are the ones that suffer. We cannot let that happen to our country after four years of progress under conservative leadership.
