Sacramento, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest grassroots Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Barbara Kirkmeyer in Colorado’s Eighth Congressional District.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “Barbara Kirkmeyer is a conservative fighter who isn’t afraid to stand up to President Biden and his liberal cohorts in Congress to fight for the personal liberties of all Coloradans, and we are pleased to endorse her candidacy.
“Barb is a 4th generation Coloradan who was a small business owner and co-owned and operated a dairy farm, so she understands how to manage a budget and lead with fiscal restraint. She then took her business experience and faithfully served as a Weld County Commissioner for 20 years where she helped advocate for conservative principles and push back against the liberal agenda flooding into Colorado.
“As a Weld County Commissioner, Barb led with a fiscally conservative agenda, making Weld County the only large debt-free county in all of Colorado. She was then elected to the Colorado State Senate and was able to pass 17 bills promoting economic and personal freedom for Coloradans – all within her first year.
“Colorado Politics quickly noticed her ability to get things done and referred to her as someone who ‘debated like a statehouse veteran, not a first-year back bencher,’ and I’m confident once elected to Congress, Barb will bring her same fierceness to fight back against the tax-and-spend liberals destroying the U.S. economy.
