ELECTION ALERT: Tea Party Express Endorses Ashley Hinson, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and Zach Nunn for Congress in Iowa

Sacramento, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest grassroots Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of three solid fiscal conservatives: Ashley Hinson in Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District, Mariannette Miller-Meeks in Iowa’s 1st Congressional District, and Zach Nunn in Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “We are thrilled to support Ashley Hinson, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and Zach Nunn for Congress as they are all strong conservatives who will champion the Tea Party principles of limited government, lower taxes, and true fiscal responsibility.
Ashley Hinson, Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District. “Ashley Hinson is a native Iowan who has dedicated her life to advocating for the people of Iowa to make sure their voices are heard. During her time as a reporter, she had the unique ability to share the real and personal stories of everyday Iowans on the local news to ensure they had a voice.
“Ashley was then elected to serve in the Iowa House of Representative where she spent her time slashing taxes and balancing the budget. After serving her district well, she was elected to Congress where she continued her fight to restore fiscal sanity. She used her voice to advocate on behalf of the people of Iowa to ensure their tax dollars were spent in a responsible manner.
“But the truth is Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats in Congress don’t care about stewarding the people of Iowa’s hard-earned money well; they only care about spending it. We are at a crossroads in our country, and if Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden get their way, the America we know and love will be destroyed from within due to the reckless fiscal policies of the extreme left.
“Ashley is determined to make sure that doesn’t happen, and her unwavering commitment to adhere to her moral convictions to stop wasteful spending in Washington, D.C. will serve the people of Iowa well.

Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Iowa’s 1st Congressional District. “Mariannette Miller-Meeks is a conservative leader who has served the people of Iowa and our country for decades. She enlisted in the United States Army at the tender of age of 18 and served for 24 years as a private nurse and ophthalmologist.
“After her faithful service to our nation, she continued working in medicine, opening a private practice and was even appointed as the Director of the Iowa Department of Public Health where she continued to serve the people of Iowa.
“In 2018, Mariannette decided to step up and lead in a fresh way and won her election to the Iowa State Senate where she continued to advocate for fiscal responsibility and government accountability. She ran for a competitive open U.S. Congressional seat in 2020 and beat her Democrat opponent by only six votes.
“Mariannette’s incredible journey to Congress highlights her resolve and determination to fix the disastrous left-wing policies flowing out of Pelosi’s Congress to help the people of Iowa keep more of their hard-earned money.
“Unlike her opponent, Mariannette Miller-Meeks is a strong advocate for government accountability, and I’m confident she’ll continue to fight against government waste and for our Tea Party principles in Washington, D.C. on behalf of the people of Iowa.
Zach Nunn, Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District. “Zach Nunn is an American patriot who proudly served our country in the United States Air Force, deploying three times to the Middle East. He received the General O’Malley ‘Best in the Air Force’ Award for his heroic efforts to save American troops from a Taliban ambush. Zach then went on to serve on the White House’s National Security Council to fight back against oversea cyber attacks which threatened our national security.
“And with currently only 91 Members of Congress ever having served in the military, we need the experience and leadership of patriots like Zach Nunn who understand firsthand the unique challenges and dangers our military and veterans face.
“After serving his country abroad, Zach ran for office and was elected to the Iowa State Senate where he has helped pass legislation to lower taxes and promote policies to grow Iowa’s economy. Unlike the liberal elites in D.C. who target famers with their red tape mandates and oppressive regulations, Zach has been a friend to Iowa farmers, knowing the important work they do to stimulate the economy and even feed the world.
“Zach’s hard work and proven fiscal conservatism has earned him the endorsements of conservative organizations like Americans for Prosperity Action, Frontline Patriots PAC, Republican Jewish Coalition, and SEAL PAC, which have all joined Tea Party Express in supporting Zach’s campaign.
“Biden and Pelosi’s reckless policies aren’t only wrong; they endanger the lives of current and future generations alike with a skyrocketing national debt and frivolous pet projects that promote a liberal agenda Iowans don’t want.
