ELECTION ALERT: Tea Party Express Endorses Allan Fung in Rhode Island’s Second Congressional District

Sacramento, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest grassroots Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Allan Fung in Rhode Island’s Second Congressional District.  

Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “Allan Fung is a commonsense leader who isn’t afraid to reach across the aisle to get things done. His first loyalty is to the people of Rhode Island, not government bureaucrats, and he’s exactly the kind of leader we need to shake up Washington, D.C. 

“Allan served the people of Rhode Island as a criminal prosecutor in the Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit of the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office, and he continues to stand shoulder to shoulder in supporting law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day to protect the people of Rhode Island.

“Wanting to continue the betterment of his community, Allan ran for Mayor of Cranston where he served several terms. During his tenure, Cranston was named one of the ‘Top 50 Cities to Live in America’ for three consecutive years. Tea Party Express is always impressed with candidates who have taken on a tough task as Allan did in reforming Cranston’s local government and by serving as a prosecutor in the Attorney General’s office.  Allan has been a great success in serving his city and state, which is why we are confident he will bring that same dedication to Washington.

“The reality is, Nancy Pelosi’s reign of terror is so extreme even Democrats are distancing themselves from her.  And with skyrocketing prices at the pump and a record-high inflation, it’s clear Pelosi’s style of politics aren’t working. Rhode Islanders deserve better, and Allan Fung has pledged to tackle the spending crisis once and for all.  Republicans and Democrats in Rhode Island all agree that the excessive spending in Washington with high deficits and sky-high debts must come to an end.  The Democrats won’t do it, but Republicans like Allan Fung will.
