Tea Party Express Endorses Jim Bognet for Congress in Pennsylvania

Sacramento, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest grassroots Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Jim Bognet in Pennsylvania’s Eighth Congressional District.

Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “We are pleased to support Jim Bognet for Congress because he is a hard-working conservative who is determined to stop Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her liberal colleagues from destroying the American Dream.  Unfortunately, Pelosi can count on the liberal Democrat incumbent Matt Cartwright, a wealthy trial lawyer and a member of the radical Progressive Caucus, to do her bidding.  Cartwright’s easy-going manner disguises just how liberal he is, and we need to end his tenure in Congress in a district where President Donald Trump won in both 2016 and 2020.

 “As a Pennsylvania native, Jim’s roots run deep as he grew up in a blue-collar family that instilled the hard-working principles he lives out today.  In 2017, Jim was appointed to the Trump Administration where he focused on supporting pro-business policies to create new jobs. 

“Liberals like Nancy Pelosi, Matt Cartwright, and President Joe Biden are out-of-touch with the real problems everyday Americans face, like record-high inflation and soaring prices at the gas pump.  While Cartwright and Pelosi’s solution is to tax and spend their way out of an economic disaster, Jim Bognet is determined to stop massive tax hikes and reduce the oppressive regulations choking small businesses. 

“Democrats like Cartwright may think they can buy the hard-working voters of Pennsylvania by promising them more of the same failed policies, but the truth is the radical policies of liberals in Congress aren’t wanted in the Keystone State.
