Tea Party Express Gets Surprise Visit from State Senator Olson & Congressman Ribble at “Restoring Common Sense” Tour

The Tea Party Express held rallies today in Fond du Lac and New London today for the “Restoring Common Sense” Wisconsin pre-election tour today.

At the Crystal Falls Banquet Facility in New London, rally attendees were treated to visits from State Senator Luther Olson, along with Congressman Reid Ribble, who spoke to an enthusiastic crowd of hundreds.

Senator Olson said, “Washington could learn a few things from Wisconsin. We have balanced our budget and added 40,000 private sector jobs. We’ve kept teachers working and class sizes are staying small. The plan was right, it is working and Wisconsin is growing more prosperous!”

Tea Party Express tour through Wisconsin features conservative speakers, singers, and entertainers, and has been described as a “rolling 4th of July show.” More events are scheduled today and tomorrow, with rallies in Merrill, Rhinelander, and De Pere.

The Tea Party Express is sending the message that Governor Walker’s budget reform has had a positive impact on the Wisconsin job market, noting that some 40,000 private sector jobs have been added since he took office. “You can’t argue with the results. Governor Walker is putting Wisconsinites back to work and helping the state grow prosperous.” Said Tea Party Express Chair Amy Kremer.
