Sacramento, CA – Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, congratulates Curt Clawson (FL-19) and Ken Buck (CO-4) also won their respective races. The organization also thanks Chris McDaniel for a hard-fought campaign.
Tea Party Express’ Executive Director Taylor Budowich, “Tea Party-backed candidates in Florida’s 19th Congressional District and Colorado’s 4th were victorious tonight. Congressman-elect Curt Clawson won a competitive primary in Apri and went on to win the General Special Election, while Ken Buck won his primary tonight, both running as bold, reform minded conservatives.
“Unfortunately in Mississippi, nefarious campaign tactics seem to have won the day over ideas and a bold conservative vision. We thank Senator Chris McDaniel for courageously standing up to the political machine. In politics, the righteous are not always victorious, but Americans across the country appreciate the values that his campaign was built upon,” Budowich concluded.
