Tea Party Express Endorses Rick Allen

Sacramento, CA – Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, proudly endorses Rick Allen in Georgia’s 12th Congressional District.

Tea Party Express’ Executive Director Taylor Budowich said, “Small Businessman Rick Allen knows what it takes to create jobs and work within a budget. Businesses aren’t able to run up debt without any way to pay it off, and neither should our government. For 37 years Rick helped grow his construction company with common-sense solutions. He will bring that same kind of practical decisions-making to Washington, D.C. where he will fight to rein in spending, roll back business-killing regulations, and lower taxes so our economy can grow.

“The current incumbent, Congressman John Barrow, has had a consistent record of talking like a conservative in Georgia, but voting with the liberals when needed in Washington.  It is time for this district to have a Congressman whose votes in D.C. honor his promises back home.

“Rick Allen will be a refreshing change by being honest and straightforward with the people he represents. We are proud to support Rick Allen’s candidacy and encourage voters of Georgia’s 12 Congressional District to cast their ballots on his behalf,” Budowich concluded.

Comments for local Tea Party leaders:

Rick Allen is exactly the kind of consistent, conservative leader we must have in Congress.  I am confident he will stand firm for our principles and fight to restore America to the vision of our Founders. I am honored to be on the same team with a man of such honorable integrity.

I’ll be supporting Rick Allen.  He has the values that represent the people of this district.  He will speak for his constituents and uphold the constitution.  He will be a welcome addition to the U.S. Congress.

I will be supporting Rick Allen for the House.  I think he will work for the taxpayers at cutting spending and attacking the 18 trillion dollar debt.  He will stand with Barry Loudermilk and work on behalf of the people of Georgia.

I am supporting Rick Allen first of all because he is a very successful businessman and has balanced a budget for thirty-seven years.  He knows what it takes to get the job done.  He wants to secure our borders and is a huge second amendment protector.  He won’t be your average run of the mill candidate.  He will work for us toward smaller government and he will definitely make a difference in Washington.  He is the candidate we need for District 12.
