Tea Party Express Endorses State Senator John Moolenaar in Michigan’s 4th Congressional District
Midland, MI – Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is proud to announce its endorsement for State Senator John Moolenaar in Michigan’s 4th Congressional District.
Tea Party Express Executive Director Taylor Budowich said, “State Senator John Moolenaar has a distinguished career serving residents of Michigan’s 4th Congressional District for years. As a business leader at MITECH+ and Dow Chemical—two Michigan-based companies—John played a vital role in the development and expansion of his companies. As a community leader in the Midland’s City Council, and Michigan’s state House and the Senate, John Moolenaar has fought to rein in wasteful spending and reduce the tax burden for his district.
“Senator John Moolenaar led the charge against Obamacare’s Medicaid Expansion, the Detroit bailout, and Michigan’s Business Tax. In doing so, John showed courage to not only stand up to tax-and-spend liberals, but even members of his own party. That’s an important quality to have if he is going to tackle the go-along-to-get-along culture of Washington, D.C. Tea Party Express is proud to stand here today with Senator John Moolenaar and we encourage voters of the 4th Congressional District to vote for John on August 5th,” Budowich concluded.
What local Tea Party Leaders are saying about John Moolenaar:
“I have known John for several years and admire his character and conservative values. If there is truth to be found in the political process, I am confident it can be found in John Moolenaar. He is a proven conservative, having voted against over $5 billion in tax increases. Washington is broken and John Moolenaar is the clear choice to represent our conservative values by cutting taxes and getting our nation’s spending under control.”
Chuck Tabb, Midland
“As a former constituent of John Moolenaar, I have always been impressed with John’s committment to constitutional, conservative principles. He fought for his constituents when he voted against Medicaid Expansion and he fought for the taxpayers when he voted against the Detroit bailout. I know that John will take those same values and willingness to fight for us to Washington DC. John has my unreserved endorsement.”
