Tea Party Express Endorses Matt Rosendale for U.S. Senate
Sacramento, CA – Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Montana State Auditor Matt Rosendale in the race for United States Senate in Montana.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “The big government agenda being pushed by Washington insiders is hurting the hard-working people of Montana. Matt Rosendale is exactly the candidate who will stand up for Montanans to take control of their own lives and get Washington off their backs.
“Liberal Democrats like incumbent Senator Jon Tester continue to block President Trump’s Make America Great Again agenda. While he tries to sound like a Montana populist at home, he consistently votes for the liberal agenda in Washington. Voters will not continue to be fooled by Tester, and Matt Rosendale is the kind of candidate to expose Tester’s liberal record.
“In last year’s campaign, the American people were promised tax reform, the repeal of Obamacare, and improved infrastructure. They are sick and tired of these promises being broken by unprincipled insiders more concerned with politics than governing by conservative principles. Senate conservatives need reinforcements, and Matt Rosendale will be just the help they need to break through the obstructionism.
“Matt’s successful track record of cutting spending as a member of the Montana House of Representatives and slashing regulations as State Auditor is the breath of fresh air needed in the Senate.
