ELECTION ALERT: Tea Party Express Endorses Steve Chabot for Re-Election to Congress in Ohio

Sacramento, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest grassroots Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Steve Chabot for re-election to Congress in Ohio’s First Congressional District.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “Steve Chabot is a rock-solid conservative who has spent his entire career in public service working to cut frivolous spending and reduce excessive tax burdens on Ohioans. He has been a leader in Congress in protecting small business from the burdensome and unnecessary regulations and taxes that the federal government is intent on inflicting on our economy.
“He faithfully served his local community as a Cincinnati City Councilman and Hamilton County Commissioner before he was elected to Congress in the “Republican Revolution” of 1994. For more than two decades, Steve has been a strong advocate for fiscal responsibility and a fierce fighter for small business owners, working to ease the burdensome regulations and oppressive mandates that are taking jobs away from hard-working Ohioans.
“In fact, because of Steve’s continued work to stop wasteful spending and out-of-control tax hikes, Citizens Against Government Waste, the Concord Coalition, and the National Taxpayers Union continue to rate him as one of the most ‘taxpayer friendly’ members in all of Congress. He has joined with Tea Party Express to promote a Balanced Budget Amendment to the U.S. Constitution as the only way to stop the politicians in Washington, D.C. from spending far more money than they receive in taxes from the American people.
“With Joe Biden and his Democrat pals continuing to spend our nation into oblivion through radical tax hikes and runaway spending bills, we need a proven fiscal conservative like Steve to stop the train wreck before it’s too late.
